A Great Start for Senior Infants and 1st Class

Senior infants and 1st class have been settling in really well over the past two weeks of school. We have all learned the importance of washing our hands correctly and when we should wash our hands by reading the book 'Wash your Hands with Rufus'.

The children have been having lots of fun playing number games, learning about pattern and even created their own patterns.

The children have been enjoying story time and there has been lots of discussion around making predictions. They each made predictions based on clues they found on the front cover of 'Tiddler' by Julia Donaldson. The pupils drew their predictions in their crystal ball. Check out the detail and vibrant colours used.

The children created their own set of class rules. The golden rules on our sun focus is on trying our best and showing kindness to everyone in our class.

Well done to the boys and girls for all their effort so far this year!
