Settling into Junior Infants

Junior Infants have settled in very well to school and have been working very hard. We have been busy at our morning fine motor activities, playing outside, making new friends and of course, washing our hands. Check out some of the things we have been up to!

We've been having lots of fun with play dough and even had a play dough disco where we got to move around and practice our rolling and pinching skills. We all have our own play dough pots to make sure we are safe. Here's some of our wonderful creations!

One of the most important things we have been doing is washing our hands. We have been learning a catchy song to help us remember how to wash our hands the right way. There is a link to the song if you would like to listen at home. We also did some cutting and gluing to help us learn the steps to washing our hands. Cutting is a great activity that you could also do with your child at home.

We are looking forward to learning lots in the year ahead and of course having lots of fun too!
