This two-part lesson involved an art lesson and a science lesson.
On Monday, we took part in a live webinar with an illustrator and author called Sarah Bowie. She showed us how to draw Rudolph, a snowman and Santa Claus. We then drew our favourite on a piece of card to begin our light up Christmas card.
On Tuesday, we added an LED circuit to the inside of the card using copper tape (conductor), a button battery and an LED bulb. We created the circuit by applying the copper tape along a template (sticker applied to the inside), then we attached the battery with a final piece of copper tape (to complete the circuit).
